Years 1 & 2
In the first two years you will attend college two days a week and work towards obtaining an NVQ Level 2 in Decorative Occupations evidence of the jobs you do at work will need to be compiled in a Work Evidence Diary.
In addition you will also work towards the City & Guilds Intermediate Construction Award (ICA) technical certificate which provides you with the underpinning knowledge you will require in your chosen occupation.
You will also have to complete Level 1 Key Skills in subjects you will not have obtained at school.

Year 3
In year three, you will complete NVQ Level 3 in the workplace and evidence of the jobs you do at work need to be compiled in a Work Evidence Diary.
You will attend college on block release in year three to complete the City & Guilds Advanced Construction Award (ACA) technical certificate.
You will also have to complete Level 2 Key Skills in subjects you will not have obtained at school.
