Employers - Train 2 Gain

Whether your business is large or small, it is the people you employ that have the largest impact on success - developing them can help to ensure that your business grows, becomes more efficient and more competitive.

Business Development at the Astral Centre is offering free training to employers through the government funded Train to Gain scheme. Train to Gain is a service designed to help businesses get the training they need to succeed. It can help businesses improve their productivity and competitiveness by ensuring that staff have the right skills to do the best job.

To participate, your organisation must be a private, public or voluntary organisation, located in Suffolk. Employers must be willing to release employees to complete their training. To benefit from Train to Gain, your employees must be aged 19 or over, with no prior qualification at NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (such as 5 GCSEs grades A-C) and be a UK citizen or meet the minimum residency requirements.

We offer Train to Gain courses in the following subjects:

• Catering and Hospitality
• Health and Social Care
• Business and Administration
• Customer Service
• Skills for Life
