The Diana, Princess of Wales Children's Memorial Centre |
The Setting is open all year round with the exception of bank holidays and a closure for one week at Christmas. (When the College itself closes for which no charge is incurred). The Setting will be closed for three days a year for staff development and training. Parents/carers will be informed at least two months in advance of these dates. There will be no charge for these days when the setting is closed.
Opening hours are as follows:
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
Morning Session - 8.30am - 1.00pm
Afternoon Session - 1.00pm - 5.00pm
All children must be collected no later than 1.00 pm for the morning session and 5.00 pm for the afternoon session.
Late collection of children causes considerable disruption to the Setting and, whilst we understand that occasionally unexpected incidents will result in a carer being late, persistent late collection will result in an additional charge and the Setting reserves the right to charge any parent/carer £5.00 for every 15 minutes late after the end of the child's session.
|
During the holiday periods ie. Easter, Half Terms and the Summer the Nursery operates a holiday club for 5 - 7 year olds. Places must be pre-booked and fees for this service are £17.20 whole day and £8.60 half day.
|
The Setting can supply a healthy, nutritional meal provided by the College catering department at a charge of £1.85. The menu is displayed on the parents' notice board. Alternatively parents may provide a healthy packed lunch.
The Setting also provides a healthy mid morning and afternoon snack, the cost of which is included in the setting fees.
|
The Setting is extremely cautious over the collection of children. All parents/carers must notify staff on a daily basis who is collecting the child. To ensure the safety of the child/children, the setting will not release a child to anyone but the expected parent/carer.
Proof, identification and password will be required if the person collecting the child is not already known to the nursery staff.
|
Both the College Nursery are accessible to users who are disabled and have toilets for adults with disabilities on site.
