Maritime and Offshore - STCW and Other Short Courses
Lowestoft College has an excellent track record in the training of seafarers, and many thousands of officers and ratings have benefited from courses and training in a wide range of disciplines.
Some of these are very specialist such as the programmes in Offshore Emergency Response and Dynamic Positioning.
References to "STCW 95" relate to international standards of Training Certification and Watchkeeping formulated within IMO (International Maritime Organisation).
