The Foundation Year has been designed to specifically meet the requirements of students looking to embark on an undergraduate ICT/Computing degree, but who lack the typical academic qualifications.

The course provides a strong platform from which to progress in various areas of computing.

As computing is an essential part of our infrastructure, technical knowledge of information exchange requires increasingly specialised training. These courses aim to provide practical, theoretical and real-world understanding of the sector.

The Foundation Year course at University Campus Suffolk Lowestoft is suitable for people with very little computing background. The course also leads directly into the first year of the computing courses at the University of East Anglia.
