These courses are designed to meet the needs of a diverse workforce. They provide a holistic approach to study, module content and a holistic concept of the child. The BA (Hons) is a work-based progression course for experienced practitioners who have successfully completed a Foundation degree.
As an employment-based learning course, students will require the support of their employer to successfully complete the qualification. These courses put an emphasis on multi-agency working, helping to create a workforce who are committed to joint working and improving standards of care for children. |

| FdA Supporting Inclusive Learning and Practice- 2010 Entry | This course is designed to meet the needs of those currently employed in or interested in working in a role that includes supporting learning. Students will come from an education environment including primary, middle, special and secondary schools or further education colleges. This will also be of interest to those from other agencies such as the Youth Offending Service, Connexions or the voluntary sector. The course is designed to develop and extend students’ knowledge and skills to work inclusively. The fundamental principles of practice are underpinned by reference to theory encouraging participants to effectively link theory to practice. |
