The catering industry is one of the largest employers in the UK and includes a remarkably wide range of catering operations with a correspondingly wide variety of jobs at all levels.
Students learn their skills in the College's own and very popular restaurant. The College's training restaurant, EAST, is staffed by students learning the art of fine catering and hospitality. Here anyone, whether members of the public or students, can eat a haute cuisine meal served by trainee staff, which you would find at some of the country's finest restaurants, at very competitive prices.

Levels 1, 2 and 3 (Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Kitchen & Restaurant Diploma) These courses are for those interested and enthusiastic about a career in the hospitality and catering industry. Training and assessment is carried out within the College kitchens and training restaurant which operate as a realistic working environment. These courses will develop the practical and technical skills required for today’s chef and food service professional.
