The College offers education and training to help to prepare you for a job or to improve your skills and qualifications to enable you to progress in your chosen career. Our specialisms are engineering, construction, care, maritime studies and energy. As we are the most easterly point of mainland Britain you would expect us to cater for those who work offshore as well as those on land, and you would be right.

We have superb facilities for training in all aspects of marine safety and will soon be delivering training in the use of Electronic Chart Display & Information System (ECDIS).

If you want to keep your feet on solid ground we offer a full ranging vocational curriculum in such subjects as catering, hairdressing, beauty therapy, motor vehicle studies, and boat building.

We are the second biggest provider in Suffolk of apprenticeship training including welding, business administration and customer service.
